Introduction to Konnected Cloud

Konnected Cloud is our free, optional cloud service that extends the power of your Konnected devices by connecting them to cloud-based smart home platforms like SmartThings and Amazon Alexa. Built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and leveraging AWS IoT, Konnected Cloud provides a secure, real-time bridge between your Konnected hardware and the cloud platforms you already use.

100% Optional Cloud Integrations

We believe in giving you choice. All Konnected devices work fully without Konnected Cloud, giving you complete local control if that’s what you prefer. Your devices do not connect to Konnected Cloud until you explicitly opt in by enabling Konnected Cloud using the Konnected App.

  • Local-only option: Keep your smart home 100% independent of cloud services.

  • Cloud-enabled option: Seamlessly integrate with Alexa and SmartThings.

Device Customization & Firmware Updates

In addition to cloud connectivity, Konnected Cloud and the Konnected App now powers our Device Customization Service. This service makes it easy to:

  • Customize firmware and device settings to your preferences.

  • Push firmware updates to your devices securely over the network.

  • Access new and advanced features of your Konnected device.

Secure by Design

Security is at the heart of Konnected Cloud. When you choose to use it, your devices connect securely using industry-standard best practices based on Amazon Web Services security guidelines and policies.

The Konnected app is the gateway to Konnected Cloud. To use Konnected Cloud, get started by downloading the app and creating an account.
