Available as a free download for both **iOS** and **Android**, the app makes it simple to bring your Konnected hardware online and integrate it with the smart home platform of your choice. ### What Is the Konnected App For? The Konnected App is designed for **setup and management** of Konnected devices, not daily operation. Unlike other smart home apps, it’s not meant to be your “destination” app for controlling devices day-to-day. Instead, Konnected devices integrate seamlessly with platforms like **SmartThings, Alexa, Home Assistant, and Control4** — so you’ll do most of your daily smart home interactions there. ### Key Features - **Provisioning and Setup** - Connect Konnected devices to WiFi - Discover Konnected devices on your network - Link cloud-based integrations like Alexa or SmartThings - **Device Management** - Customize device features and settings - Easily push the latest firmware to your devices over the air - Manage multiple Konnected devices from one place - **Konnected Cloud Integration** - Securely provision devices to connect with Konnected Cloud - Create and manage your Cloud account with Konnected #### Why Not a Daily Control App? Konnected devices are designed to extend and enhance the smart home control platforms you already use. For daily control — like opening a garage door, arming a security system, or checking sensors — you’ll continue to use your chosen smart home platform’s app and automations or commands (e.g. Alexa app, SmartThings app, or Home Assistant dashboard).
