Adding an Add-on Board to the System

Each Konnected Alarm Panel board operates independently

You can add a Konnected Alarm Panel Add-on board to your system to add more zones. The Add-on Board does not physically connect to the main board.

The 6-Zone Alarm Panel Add-on board is now discontinued.

Alarm Panel Add-On

Do I need a cable to connect the Add-on board?

No — There are no wired data connections between your main Konnected board and your add-on board. The add-on board is set up just like a new Konnected Alarm Panel board and has its own network connection and IP address.

Follow the steps to connect the Add-on board to WiFi and discover it with the Konnected app. Set up and wire the add-on board zones in the same way you did the first board.

Sharing Power

You can share power for the Add-on board from your main Konnected Alarm Panel with a DC splitter cable or by connecting the AUX +/- to the AUX +/- of another powered board.
