Yes, Konnected's Smart Garage Door Opener products work independently of the Alarm Panel product family. Of course we'd love it if you had both products, but you don't need to!

You will need to choose a smart home platform to use with the Konnected GDO. The Konnected app is not for day-to-day use, only for setup and configuration. You can use the Konnected GDO for free with a cloud platform like SmartThings or Alexa. Or, integrate with your local smart home solution using Home Assistant, Hubitat, Control4, or HomeSeer.

Of course you will need a garage door opener (motor unit) that's compatible! The Konnected GDO is a smart control accessory, not a garage opener motor itself.
