Using a Cellular/LTE/5G Backup Modem for Konnected Panels and Home Network

No. We recommend using a cellular/LTE/5G backup modem behind the WiFi router (such as the Netgear LB2120). The reason is that in many use cases, you will need multiple Konnected panels in one installation, and the panels will often need to communicate to devices on a local LAN. It would be cost-prohibitive to require a SIM card and data plan for each Konnected panel. Using a SIM card backup ISP for the whole home network or mission-critical portions of the network is more cost-effective and functional.
