Updating the ESPHome library for Hubitat
Keeping the ESPHome library and firmware up to date can help resolve some connection reliability issues in Hubitat.
Konnected devices running the ESPHome based firmware talk to Hubitat using the open-source espHomeApiHelper library. Konnected helps maintain this library, along with the open-source community, to keep up with new features and changes in the firmware.
If you're experiencing connectivity issues with Konnected devices and Hubitat, communication errors in the Hubitat logs, or frequent device reboots when used with Hubitat, a good thing to do is make sure that the library is up to date.
Using Hubitat Package Manager
If you've installed Konnected drivers in Hubitat with Hubitat Package Manager (HPM) it should allow you to update automatically by going to Updates in HPM.
