Security+ 3.0 and White Learn Button Garage Openers

Newer LiftMaster and Chamberlain openers with a white learn button and Security+ 3.0 technology are not compatible with Konnected at this time

Newer Chamberlain and LiftMaster garage door openers manufactured after 2025 use Security+ 3.0 technology and have a white learn button.

Konnected does not currently offer a garage door product that is compatible with Security+ 3.0 openers with a white learn button.

Why is there no compatible Konnected product for Security+ 3.0 garage openers?

Security+ 3.0 uses a newer encrypted bluetooth communication method between the garage door opener, wall control, and accessories. Konnected's current garage door products do not support this protocol.

Chamberlain and LiftMaster have gone to great lengths to make it nearly impossible for third-party control devices like Konnected's GDOs to interface with their newest line of garage openers.

Our GDO blaQ product was designed for Chamberlain and LiftMaster openers that use the wireline Security+ or Security+2.0 technology. Essentially, the GDO blaQ emulates a wired wall button by mimicking the wired digital signals sent from the wall button to and from the garage opener motor and logic board. Unfortunately, the newer Chamberlain/LiftMaster openers with Security+3.0 technology do not use this wireline communication.

What can I do if I have a white learn button?

If your opener has a white learn button or the documentation says Security+ 3.0, Konnected does not currently have a compatible garage door opener product for your setup. If at all possible, you should try to replace it with an older Security+2.0 generation garage opener (2015~2025) with a yellow learn button for maximum compatibility with the GDO blaQ.
