[Power](https://support.konnected.io/konnected-devices-in-general?hsLang=en#power) # Powering with Bare Wire to 12V AUX Konnected devices, including the Alarm Panel and GDO family of products, also can accept DC power through bare wires connected to the 12V AUX terminals. #### AUX Terminals are Electrically Connected to 12V Input If you have a DC power source without a barrel jack connector, you can power the Konnected device directly to the AUX + and - terminals. The AUX output is electrically connected to the barrel jack input with no switching or filtering between these two connections. Connect the red wire (12V+) to the AUX+ terminal and the black (or white) wire to the AUX- terminal. #### Flexible Voltage 6V ~ 20V We recommend 12V, but the devices are flexible and will accept a range of DC voltage from 6V to 20V. -
