Konnected Alarm Panels and GDOs are powered by 12V DC and are designed to be always plugged in and powered on. By design, we do not rely on batteries!
Power using a Power Adapter (Recommended)
A 12V power adapter is included in all kits. The power adapter is plugged in to a household electrical outlet and the barrel jack connector delivers 12V to your Konnected device. While all Konnected devices use 12V DC, different products ship with different size power adapters:

Powering Multiple Konnected Devices
You can power multiple Konnected devices with a single power source using a DC splitter. Just keep in mind that the total power consumption of all devices must not exceed the output of the power adapter. Buy a DC power splitter
